Egg Hunt

Last night we went to Larryland for an egg hunt and cookout with the Campbell's. The kids played on the swing and slide while we cooked. Riley spent a lot of time whining about wanting to play, but not really wanting to play. We ate then they all went out to get eggs. Riley made me carry her basket so she could grab eggs two at a time and slam them into her basket. She wanted to make sure she beat Isabelle. How does a 2.5 year old become competitive? Riley ate a lot of evil jelly beans and became so hyper. On the ride home she talked more than ever which didn't seem possible since she never stops talking. We finally turned on some music hoping she would go to sleep. She started singing (screaming) Old MacDonald at the top of her lungs! Finally she gave up and started yawning at the driveway. We just kept driving until she passed out. :o)
